Goal(s)
The aim of this advanced course is to carry out a project integrating the 1st year's teaching within the framework of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the design of a complete system (20 hours supervised + 20 hours of personal work).
The pedagogical objective is to integrate all the concepts covered during the core curriculum for the design of a complex object or system and to become aware of the additional pedagogical contributions to be acquired during the programme (simulation tools, modelling hypotheses, experimental validation, etc.).
Three systems cover the school's three cross-disciplinary themes:
- Designing a tidal turbine (ME, SEM)
- Designing a hydraulic pipe (HOE, IEN, IDP)
- Designing a kart for an E3fun cup virtual race (ASI, IEE, SICOM)

Different themes: electrical, automatic, mechanical, thermal, etc. will be addressed to carry out an initial dimensioning of these objects.
Problem-based learning allowing the integration of all or part of the notions of the 1st year of Ense3.

During the sessions, the teachers will give you feedback on :
- The quality of the design work in the intermediate deliverables
- The cooperative teamwork and professionalism of the team.
