Goals
The objective of this EU in-depth study is to carry out a project integrating the first year's lessons in the framework of a 40-hour Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the dimensioning of a particular object.
The pedagogical objective is to integrate all the concepts covered during the common core curriculum for the dimensioning of a complex object or system and to become aware of the additional pedagogical contributions to be acquired during the course of the course (simulation tools, modelling hypotheses, experimental validation, etc.).
Three objects have been identified to cover three cross-cutting themes at school:
- Sizing of a tidal turbine (ME, SEM courses)
- Sizing of an intelligent vehicle (ASI, IEE, SICOM sectors)
- Dimensioning of a hydraulic line (HOE, IEN, IDP dies)
Content Different themes: electrical, automatic, mechanical, thermal, etc. will be addressed to carry out an initial dimensioning of these objects.
Problem-based learning allowing the integration of all or part of the notions of the 1st year of Ense3.
PrerequisitesAll course units of 1st year
