Goals

Identification of systems parameters, spectral analysis and correlation analysis and model validation.

Gain knowledge on design of state feedback and observers using LQ criteria.

Input design for identification (pseudo random binary signals PRBS)
Non-parametric and parametric identification
model structure analysis and selection
Model validation methods
Recursive least squares method for identification

Linear Quadratic control (LQR)
Optimal observer design (LQE)
Quadratic optimization for output feedback (LQG)
Robustness analysis

Technical sessions (PW) 16h + Computer sessions 24h.

Prerequisites

Bases on Z transform, sampled systems
Basic course on state space linear systems
