Goal(s)
The goal of this Teaching Unit is to provide a deepest knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermic. A local point of view is proposed to complete the global point of view.
Brahim RAMDANE
Content(s)
The fundamental governing equations for fluid dynamic are derived. A specific focus is proposed on the physical interpretation of these equations. Flow configurations close to industrial flow configurations : wall bounded flow, turbulent flow are considered. Some notions about modeling tools are also proposed.
The teaching deals also with thermoconvection in laminar condition : local approach taking into account hydrodynamic and thermic boundary layers. Forced and natural convection are also studied.
