Goals

The objectives of this Course Unit are:
- Provide basic knowledge in electronics
- Understand and implement a sensor and an actuator on a system (command control - control - ...)
- Give the basics of signal processing with certain signals

Content

Acquisition chain - restitution,
Implementation of sensors
Basic tools for electronics, sensor conditioning, pretreatment of electrical quantity, interfacing and system outputs

Basics for signal processing with certain signals: representation, finite energy, average power - self function and cross-correlation - delay measurement - estimating signal parameters known form linear filtering, convolution - properties and characteristics of linear homogeneous filters - demultiplexing / multiplexing - frequency representation (signals, filtering) - sampling theorem of Shannon - linear filtering properties and discrete signals

Electrical circuits
Mathematical tools (integrals, functions, ...)

Exam (3h) and reports

CC 70% + CT 30%
