Goal(s)
Give a core of knowledge and skills to solve monophasic hydraulic and heat transfert problem for engineers. With the Eulerian approach, we show how the boundary conditions realize the coupling between fluid mechanics and heat transfer (continuities of temperature and flow with interfaces for example). We insist in particular on the concepts of convective heat exchange for a surface but also for a volume with the local point of view for the convection the conduction (Fourier. The concepts of boundary layers are also discussed to better understand the relevance of adimensionels numbers and length scales involved in the correlations in forced or natural convection.
