This module aims to put the spotlight on some aspects of hydraulic and civil engineering (applied to hydraulic), both in urban environment, coastal environment and natural environment. It complements more disciplinary modules that are also encountered during the 2nd and 3rd semester.
The module is divided into three parts corresponding to a three specific (and more or less independant)topics and their associated developments :
The module consists of three parts:
Advanced Urban Hydraulic: This course complements the theoretical disciplins studied during Semester S3 and Semester S4. A brief summary of those latter topics in urban hydrology will be given. The course itself focuses on the dynamics of sewerage systems (flood risk and pollution), taking into account their particularities. An opening on the latest advances in terms of modeling (coupled simulation surface flow / sewer network) or monitoring (smart grids) will be offered in the form of guest speakers conferences. The course is complemented by a project using an industrial software in order to simulate the non-steady behaviour of a sewage network.
Hydraulic of pressurized systems (S3), hydraulic of steady free surface flow (S4), hydraulic of non steady free surface flow (S5) Hydrology for engineers (S3), Environmental Fluid Mechanics (S3)
Exam (3h) (50% of the mark + project, case study,... (50% of the mark)
EN 40% + ER 60%
