In 2013-2014, Yen Tran Haï completed the International Master's degree in Hydraulics and Civil Engineering (HCE ) at Ense3, followed by a thesis on "Long-term shoreline evolution and coastal erosion modelling" at the Fluid mechanis and energy laboratory (LEGI ) in Grenoble. She is a member of CARE - RESCIF, a reference research center on water issues in South-East Asia, and, she managed with Julien Némery, a teacher-researcher at Ense3, the PFIEV Urban Water Engineering and Management program in Vietnam, in which several of the school's teachers are involved.
As part of this program, a double degree between HCMUT and Ense3 (HOE stream) has been signed in 2022, offering students from both institutions the opportunity to undertake academic mobility in France or Vietnam. Vietnamese students also have the opportunity to carry out their last year internship or pursue a thesis in one of Grenoble's laboratories.
