The Urban Water Management programme is one of the thematic pathways of the Programme de Formation d'Ingénieurs d'Excellence au Vietnam (PFIEV), for which Grenoble INP - Ense³, UGA has signed a double degree agreement.
Under this double degree agreement, students from several Vietnamese Polytechnic Institutes and a School of Civil Engineering have the opportunity to study in France, in particular at Grenoble INP - Ense³ in the Urban Water Management programme. This is the case of Nguyen Thanh Nhon, currently in his second year at the school. He is following the Hydraulic Works and Environment programme thanks to a grant from the Terra Graduate School. A new student, Nguyen Hoang Phuc, has just been awarded an Eiffel scholarship and will be joining the school next year to follow the same course. The PFIEV programme also supports mobility for internships, as was the case for Yen Hoang Nhi, who did his internship at the Institute of Geosciences and Environment and at the Asian Water Research Centre (CARE) with Julien Némery. Julien Némery is a teacher-researcher at Grenoble INP - Ense³ and the IGE, and helped set up the Urban Water Management programme. Yen Hoang Nhi is a member of the first class of this new Water Management in the Urban Environment programme, which will graduate in 2025. French students from Grenoble - INP - Ense³ can also benefit from this Double Degree agreement for outgoing academic mobility or internships (more than 20 Ense³ internships at 2A and Césure level since the creation of the CARE in 2013).
In total, the PFIEV offers around twenty programmes on a wide range of subjects, giving Vietnamese and French students the opportunity to complete a double degree abroad and gain a rich and formative experience.
