GIPSA-Lab recently had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Mircea Lazar from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e, Netherlands) as a visiting professor.
On this occasion, he delivered a course entitled “Data-driven predictive control: Theory, design and implementation”, focusing on innovative approaches to data-driven predictive control.
This contribution enabled students and PhD candidates to benefit from high-level scientific expertise in a rapidly evolving field.
This visit also helped strengthen academic ties with the Department of Electrical Engineering at TU/e.
Discussions were initiated to increase the number of exchange opportunities, opening up new prospects for academic mobility and internships for students from both institutions.
