Goals

Experiment the study and control of systems of various natures (electrical, mecanical, hydaulic) on real processes.

1) System Modeling

  • Time representation
  • Transfer function

2) System Analysis

  • Time response (transient response, first and second order systems)
  • Bode diagram, Nyquist diagram
  • Stability analysis (Nyquist criterion, Routh critérion) and performance analysis
    3) Controller synthesis
  • open loop vs closed loop
  • PID controllers


Prerequisites

General physics, mathematics (Laplace transform, solving differential equations)
