Goal(s)
The purpose of this Course Unit is a specialization to fluid mechanics deepening the concepts covered in previous semesters. This is particularly the skills required for specific issues of mechanical fluids (aerodynamics, multiphase ...)
Olivier METAIS
Content(s)
This course gives some complements of the Course Unit of the semester 3 focusing on specific applications.
This will affect some specific points to aerodynamics, as well as supplements for compressible flows. Finally, an introduction to multiphase flows (dynamic drops modelling and bubbles principle simulation and instrumentation) will be discussed.
Teachings of fluid mechanics and continuum mechanics of 1s year. Course Unit "modeling and analysis of flows 1" (semester 3).
Session 1
Final exam (ET1) : 2 hours supervised written exam
Continuous assessment (CC1) : reports on practical works
Session 2
Final exam : new written exam or oral presentation (ET2) to replace session 1 assessment (ET1)
Continous assessment : no retake, session 1 assessment is counted for session 2 (CC1=CC2)
CC 40% + CT 60%
