The aim of this module is to give the students skills to analyze, design and simulate devices using fluids: hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings, hydraulic systems : fluid power control.

The emphasis is on learning through project, two case studies conducted by outside contributors and an introduction to the dynamic simulation of hydraulic circuits using AMESim©.
A Practical Work on an electrohydraulic position control is proposed. The objective is to analyze the structure, identifying characteristics, to provide a control setting, performing tests of response to typical inputs, to finally build a AMESim model and compare measures and results simulation.
