Goal(s)

This course is designed to raise students' awareness of the economic issues of engineering associated in particular with the energy, water and environment sectors from a sustainable development perspective.

This course aims to enable students to question the economic and social environment in which they operate. Economic phenomena and theories will be understood as they question the socio-ecological transition.

Understand the fundamentals of macroeconomics concerning growth (its sources, its actors), markets, currency and the role of public actors.

Explore the fundamental concepts of understanding economic mechanisms
Question economic phenomena and explanatory theories.
Understand the tools and indicators of economic science.
Design the socio-ecological transition.
