Modeling and control of mechatronic systems (ASI)

Informations générales

  • ECTS

    ECTS 2

Goal(s)

Exploit integration-tools for mechatronic systems

Content(s)

Lectures 6H:
This lecture gives some general information on Mechatronics, i.e. the lecture focus on an integrated approach (dynamic sensors/actuators, systems, microprocessors, communication systems).
Some elements for modeling of mechatronic systems are given, for example using the Bond-graphs tools.
Illustration of methods in some mechatronic systems.

Conference of an industrialist responsible for a Mechatronics department (2H)

Tutorials (24H)

Illustrative mini-projects about Mechatronics integrated approach (dynamic System, actuators, sensors, modeling, control design, real-time microprocessors and computing resources management, communication systems, image processing).
These projects are forwards pointing to several application domains:
- Automotive: engine, vehicle dynamics, inter-vehicle communication, traffic.
- Aeronautics
- Robotics (medical?)
- Microsystems
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (Drone)

Prerequisites :

General mechanics
Electromechanical actuators
Control theorye
