Goal(s)
This course is focused on the description and formulation of current phenomena governing the behaviour of materials inside hydraulic and thermal systems (turbine, pump, turbojet...)
For each type of constraints (thermo-elastic and visco-plastic) the modelling of the macroscopic behaviour is presented. The aim is to define very usual phenomena that must be systematically taken into account when analyzing such systems.

- Review of stress and deformation tensors
- Thermo-elastic problems formulation and limit criteria, Navier and Beltrami
- Visco-elastic problems and limit criteria, creep, relaxation, dynamic behaviour
