* Single and three phase electrical circuits (complex numbers and electrical power)
* Understanding the behaviour of all electrical machines (transformers, electromecanic converters)
* Identifying and using their equivalent electrical schemes
* Introduction to power electronics

Starting from the examle of a power transmission line or a simple electical network, giving the main notions of electricity

Transformer
* physics of phenomena
* magnetic circuits
* Equivalent scheme and identification
* Use of Equivalent scheme

Electrical machines
* Introduction and concept: DC machine
* Rotating field
* Synchronous machine
* Induction Motor

Main functions of power electronics
* Choppers (Buck, Boost, reversibility)
* Inverters (full wave)
* Diode rectifiers

Summary and conclusion: flash back and developments on the introduction (electrical network)
