Grenoble INP offers priority accommodation in university residences for exchange students. At the end of the application period, you will receive an e-mail with a link to apply for accommodation (in July for the autumn semester and in November for the spring semester).

At Ense3, attendance at all academic activities (classes, practical work, projects, internships, visits, etc.) is compulsory. All absences must be justified.
- Language requirements

A B1 level in French and English is required to be accepted for the double degree. Level B2 is recommended and must be passed to obtain the diploma.
- French classes

Students can take French courses free of charge as follows:
- one intensive session (20 hours over one week) before the start of the fall semester
- an extensive session (2 hours per week over 10 weeks) during the fall and/or spring semester.
It is possible to take both the intensive and extensive sessions.

A sports class will be compulsory in you first year at Ense3.

At Ense3, you can sign up for the buddy system. Buddies are a tandem of two students, one local and one international. Your buddy can guide you through your life on campus in France, helping you to discover the city, meet new people, integrate into the local culture and so on.

You'll start your studies in the second year and stay for two years, working out your choice of courses with your home university.
You must choose 30 ECTS credits per semester, i.e. 60 ECTS credits for one academic year.
Your choice of courses will be made for semesters 7, 8 and 9 (semester 10 is dedicated to the end-of-studies project), following the same rules as regular students.
To obtain your engineering diploma, you'll need to pass a French language exam: either the Test de connaissance du français - TCF or the Diplôme d'études de la langue française - DELF or the Diplôme approfondi de la langue française - DALF.

IEE : Ingénierie de l'Energie Electrique / Electrical Power Engineering

ME : Mécanique et Energétique / Mechanical & Energy Engineering
SEM : Systèmes Energétiques et Marché / Energy systems and associated markets - Evaluation method and grading system
