This program is a two-year (120 ECTS) Engineering Program covering the following skills: Analysis, modeling and simulation of dynamical systems, Design and optimization of controlled systems, Design of embedded control systems, System supervision, monitoring and reconfiguration, Acquisition and signal processing, Personal development, Management and industrial engineering.
The program objective is to provide solutions to new challenges in automatic control and signal/information processing which stands at the heart of all industrial and service sectors: energy, environment, transport (sea, air, space, ground), robotics, manufacturing, food processing industry, oil and gas industry, biomedical and process engineering.
The main disciplines cover different fields: automatic control, signal/information processing, mechatronics, production management, condition monitoring, diagnosis, maintainability.
The course consists of 4 semesters of study counting for 30 ECTS. The first two semesters deal with the general topics of automatic control, signal processing, electronics, actuators, real-time systems, informatics, and numerical analysis. The third semester is made up of mandatory and elective courses and is dedicated to a specialization in:
- Condition monitoring and diagnosis
- Control and supervision of industrial processes
- Mechatronics and embedded control systems
Many of the courses in these specialization programs are given in English.
The last semester is dedicated to the end-of-study training project to be carried out either in industry or in a laboratory (in France or in a partner university).
The program of the two last semesters is recognized for the Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Control, Signal processing Master in Automatic control.
After completion of this Engineering/Master degree, students can apply for PhD programs in Europe and/or work as a scientist or R&D engineer in industry.
