Grenoble INP - Ense³ and G2Elab welcomed an 8-strong delegation from Senegal's Ministry of Energy, Oil and Mines and SENELEC (Senegal's national electricity company). The visit was part of a week-long Study Tour on the theme of smart power grids. The visit was co-constructed under the aegis of the Smart Grids Institute by Enedis and IED Conseil.
Discussions and presentations focused on the school's training courses, Grenoble-INP and UGA's existing international partnerships, and research topics related to smart grids, grid planning and rural electrification. The half-day event ended with a tour of the G2Elab SYREL team's research platforms.
At the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, Grenoble - INP, UGA was selected for a project submitted under the Erasmus+ call: “Mobility of students and staff in higher education supported by external policy funds (AC171)”. This project will strengthen international cooperation and develop student and academic staff exchanges, notably through mobility grants with Senegal.
