Goals

Make students aware of the impact of environmental fluid on the mechanical systems vibrations. Model this interaction and calculate the current EF codes.

Content

Introduction: classification of the F/S couple problems.
Structure dynamics (Reminders, EF, analytical methods)
Fluid/Structure interactions (fluid EF mode, coupled model, phenomenology, examples)
The teaching is divided into 4h of course, 4h of tutorial on the analitycal modeling of a coupled problem, then 8h of practical works on the handling and implementation of the same problem under the EF format.



Prerequisites

Linear system vibrations, finite elements. Fluid dynamics.

Tests

Mini project and report graded in pairs.
