- to present techniques to design and optimise hydraulic systems.
- to explain, in the technological point of view, the functioning of hydraulic components.
- to design and to select hydraulic equipments.
- to present techniques of flow measurements and control.
Content(s)
Chapter 1: hydraulic components (piping, valves, pumps, etc.)
Chapter 2: valves and diaphragms (running characteristics; problems of vibration, cavitation, noise)
Chapter 3: Flow measurements and control
Chapter 4: Pumps (application, technological aspects, plant,...)
Chapter 5: Pumping stations
Chapter 6: Networks safe: protection equipments (surge tanks, valves)
Requisites :
Knowledge in:
- Hydrostatic and hydrodynamic
- Turbomachineries, transient flows
- Course of HYDRAULIC FLOWS : no-transient and transient flows in ducts
