Goal(s)

Design a pole placement controller using the polynomial approach.
Understand the implementation constraints.

Content(s)

Definition of the sensitivity functions
Definition of performance and robustness criteria
The polynomial approach to the pole placement problem
Implementation of digital controllers (prefiltering, computation time, controller realizations, quantification)
Limitations due to actuators/sensors (anti windup)
Analysis of disturbance effects
Analysis of modelling uncertainties, robustness

Prerequisites :
Study and analysis of continous-time and discrete-time systems.
