Physico-dynamico statistical models for prediction and forecasting.
Multivariable techniques: multiple correlation (orthogonal, ridge,…). Principal component analyses in space and time domain. Data reduction, network design, series reconstruction, Empirical Orthogonal Functions.
Rare flood estimation (103 to 104 return periods).Gradex method and extensions. Bayesian approach for model and sampling uncertainties in extreme event prediction.
Times series analysis in geophysics (trends, cycles, broken line process, fractals). Filtering of seasonal, diurnal components.
