Goals

  • Analysis of the principle of operation of batteries and fuel cells, design of battery packs and stacks of fuel cells
  • Analysis of the properties of different materials of electric and hydraulic power plants (analysis of the mechanical energy storage and comparison with other storage systems, operating system services, start modes).

  • Electrochemical Storage of electrical energy
    o Presentation of conversion technologies and electrochemical energy storage: Batteries and Fuel Cells
    o charge / discharge, charge status
    o Concepts of voltage, capacity, power and energy of a cell
    o Characteristic current - voltage
    o Design of a battery pack (BE)
  • Hydroelectric Facilities
    o Conversion hydroelectric
    o Hydroelectric system
    o Hydro power stations - projects
