The class presents the basics in deterministic signal processing:

  • representation, finite energy, finite average power
  • auto and inter-correlation
  • measuring a delay
  • estimating a signal's parameters with a known shape
  • linear filtering, convolution
  • properties of linear and homogeneous filters
  • frequential representation(signals, filters)
  • multiplex / demultiplex
  • sampling, Shannon's theorem
  • properties and linear filtering of discrete signals


Prerequisites
  • mathematics for the engineer (distributions, Fourier Transform)
