Goal(s)

Provide an introduction to methodologies and conceptual tools needed to face modeling problems in the field of water and environmental systems, with a multi-disciplinary approach including Mechanics, Process Modeling, and Automatic Control.

  • Modeling by elements, state representation vs input/output representation (transfer functions)
  • Black-box modeling and parametric optimisation (identification)
  • Modeling in Hydrology, pollution modeling, bio-reactor modeling (conservation laws, transport and diffusion)

Bachelor level in Physics and Mathematics, 1rst year System Course

Test

Exam (2 Hours in common with the control course)
