Goals
To give basic tools for solving problems dealing with incompressible flows in natural or industrial environment.
This course involves two tutorials (2h each), detailed in the course entitled “Measurements in fluids and solids.

Stress and viscosity concepts.
Hydrostatic
Local dynamic equations for inviscid fluids (Bernoulli - mass)
Integral relations for a Control volume (Momentum, mass, mechanical energy)
Viscous flow calculations in ducts : pumps, turbines, Head losses
PrerequisitesVector and tensor analysis, one or multi variable functions,
Partial derivatives, integrals
Tests EXAM + 3 homeworks (DM) for a total of 3 points to be added to the exam
