Goals

This course aims to consolidate the knowledge based on the modeling, analysis and control of dynamic systems applied in the case of electricity grids. The objective is to introduce typical methodologies to analyze and control these systems.

  • Modelling of interconnected systems.
  • Tools for the automatic modeling, analysis and control of power systems.
  • Analysis of performance.
  • Synthesis and tuning of controllers.
  • Synthesis of classical structures of markers (PID control, Lead-Lag control).
  • Systems modeling SMIB (Single Machine Infinite Bus)
  • Voltage, frequency control
  • Power System Stabilizers (PSS)
  • Root locus method


Prerequisites

Electrical and mechanical modules and systems approaches.
