Give the basics for a 'system approach' in front of a given problem, in terms of modeling, time or frequency analysis, and basic control design.
Content(s)
1) System modeling
- mathematical equations
- transfer functions
2) System analysis
- time response (transients, 1st order systems, 2nd order systems)
- frequency analysis (Bode, Nyquist)
3) Basic tools for regulator design
- open loop vs closed loop
- PID regulators
Prerequisites :
General physics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulical modeling), mathematics (differential equations, Laplace transform).
