Goals

Be able to design a power transmission chain.

  • Knowing the physics of chains & belts, planetary gear sets, and hydrodynamic transmissions.
  • Knowing the methodology for synthesizing a control law and estimation for systems represented by physical models.

Content

Power transmission :
Students work on Problem based learning in three areas:
1 chains & belts,
2 planetary gear sets,
3 hydrodynamic transmissions

Automatic:
Automatic:
1 Introduction: The state representation
2 Modelling of dynamic systems
3 Properties stability, controllability, observability
4 Order by state feedback
5 Observer
6 Some elements of the discrete-time systems and CNC

Prerequisites

Automatic frequency, transfer function, linear algebra

Tests

Individual review, continuous control

CC 60% + CT 40%
