Goal(s)
Complete the fluid mechanics and heat transfer training by elementary notions on flow phenomenology and heat transfer in gas-liquid and liquid-vapour flow. Phenomenon modeling elements.

- Scientific and technical information sources. Industrial occurrence of the two-phase flows, thermodynamic modeling of the phase shift.
- The flow states in horizontal and vertical driving, the flooding and reversal flow phenomenon.
- The measurement methods in a two-phase flow. Local and average attendance rate, speed and outputs. The first average attendance rate models.
- Les équations de bilan en écoulement diphasique. Application aux écoulements en conduite et à la modélisation tridimensionnelle. Equations primaires, secondaires et bilans aux interfaces. Problématique de la fermeture des équations.
- Modélisation des écoulements diphasiques. Modèle homogène, modèle à flux de dérive, modèle homogène et à l'équilibre thermodynamique, modèle homogène relaxé. Caractère mal posé du modèle à deux fluides et à une pression. Modélisation des pertes de pression en écoulement diphasique.
- Introduction à la phénoménologie des transferts de chaleur en ébullition. Convection naturelle (pool boiling) et convection forcée. La crise d'ébullition.
- Introduction aux transferts de chaleur par condenstion. Condensation en film et à gouttes.
