  • resources, reserves, production, distribution, consumption ;
  • management, savings ;
  • political choices and economical aspects.

a) Plenary lectures:
Lectures change each year. List for 2012:
Technical aspects of energetics and rational use of energy.
Production of electricity via hydraulics and wind turbines.
Fuell cells.
Storage of energy.

Solar energy: overview and perspectives.
The various forms of energy in France, Europe, worldwide.
Electricity production via nuclear reactors: technical aspects and issues.

The interconnection of electrical networks at the European scale.
Overview of oil production.
Energies at various scales.

b) Workshops: prepared and presented by the students
Examples of topics covered:
aspects of solar energy;
geothermy: domestic use and electricity production;
coal: an energy of the past or of the future;
alternative energy sources;
the nuclear industry.
