Goals
The purpose of this module is to provide theoretical and practical foundations for the inclusion of digital aspects in:
- the analysis and processing of measured signals,
- the design and implementation of electronic systems.
Content Design and implementation of electronic systems
- electronic circuit diagram design
- prototyping
- printed circuit board design, producing and testing
- performance analysis
Digital signal processing
- frequency representations (FT, DFT, ZT)
application ? spectral analysis with DFT - linear and time invariant transforms
application ? digital filtering - multirate systems
application ? changing the sampling rate
PrerequisitesMathematics for engineers: complex variable functions, Fourier transform, Laplace transform, Z transform.
Basics in continuous-time signal processing: deterministic and random signals, time domain and frequency domain representations, linear and time-invariant filers, sampling.
Tests Normal session:
- ER assessment: 2 hours individual supervised written exam + 1 hour individual supervised PC exam
- EN assessment: 1 group project
If distant learning mandatory:
- ER assessment: 1 hours individual MCQ/written exam + 1 hour individual PC exam
- EN assessment: 1 electronic project (simulation only - if enough face-to-face sessions at the beginning of the cycle)
ER assessment: retaking this assessment is possible
EN assessment: retaking this assessment is not possible
Note finale = ER 50% + EN 50%
Final mark = ER 50% + EN 50%
