Goals
The economics classes at ENSE3 are complementary to the "energy engineering “ classes
Objective: open students to socio-economic issues and challenges in the energy field
Content International Markets of Oil and Gas (C. Locatelli, 4h CM)
• Understand the strategies of actors on the hydrocarbon markets
• Understand the pricing mechanisms of a non-renewable energy resource
Regulation and tarrification of electricity markets (H.Kalfallah, 6h CM)
The course focuses on the regulation of network industries with a particular focus on the electricity markets. More particularly, it addresses the pricing issues and the economic mechanisms mobilized for the activation of electricity demand and their efficiency in terms of consumption.
Political and institutional analysis of energy transition instruments (T. Reverdy, 8h CM)
This course aims to present the instruments of the energy transition by placing them in the political and institutional landscape. It is built in dialogue with stakeholders from the economic sciences, urban planning as well as professionals from the sector.
