Goal(s)
Understand the several physico-chemo phenomenon occuring at early age and during ageing in concrete.
Provide the methods and the associated understanding of a reliability analysis of structures.
Provide the tools allowing sizing or requalifying the works subject to natural or anthropogenic hazards (earthquake, gravity movements) and ageing of contrete materials and structures.
Content(s)
Civil engineering works in their environment: conception and safety rules, actions linked with the use (normal actions, accidental actions, time effects), actions generated by the environment (climatic variations, aggressive environments, natural hazards)
Case study of the concrete works: damage & durability of the concrete material and consequences on the structure vulnerability.
Prerequisites
- Material strength
- Reinforced concrete
- Continuum mechanics
- Statistical analysis
