Goal(s)
• Teach to the students the elements of the european powering strategy, adapted to the urban scale;
• Provide to the students the nevessary tools for:
a) ensuring a better life quality for the inhabitants, for an internal comfort of high quality buildings;
b) being able to deal with the power of a building;
c) acting to improve the building energy efficiency;
d) implement the renewable energy in the building power economy.
Content(s)
• High performance power techniques: cogeneration and Trigeneration (3 courses + 2 tutorials)
• Distribution network to heat and consume sanitary hot water (4 courses)
• Installations of heating device and sanitary hot water in the buildings (4 courses + 4 tutorials))
• Refrigerating plants and heating pumps; application in climatic engineering (8 courses + 4 practical works)
• Climatic engineering: air treatment process and air conditioning installations (4 courses)
• Building thermics: heat requisite calculation, thermal insulation, power audit notions (5 courses + 2 tutorials)
• Renewable energies integrated in the urban energetics: solar, geothermal, biomass, wind, tidal (12 courses + 8 tutorials + 4 practical works)
Prerequisites
TC first year thermics course and thermal transfer course of the F1-S1 semester
Ongoing assessment, written examination (3h)
