The purpose of this Course Unit is to be able to design an energy management system for a building.
The Smart Grid and Building students will follow, instead of Part 1 a course about Urban energetic.
Knowledge about the elements of the European energy strategy adapted to the urban scale
To provide students the tools to:
• ensure a better quality of life for residents through a high quality comfort inside buildings,
• manage the energy of a building;
improve energy efficiency of buildings, towards zero energy building
The scientific topics covered in this Course Unit are organized around the three means of control of energy consumption in buildings: energy Sobriety in winter and summer; Development and integration of RES and Integration built systems that produce electricity by the photovoltaic process.
The course on energy management in buildings is divided into 16 sessions divided into two major parts:
Part 3 : The content of the Urban Energetic (Smart Grid and Building students) is about
Heat generation: high performance technologies (cogeneration and trigeneration).
Distribution of hot water and heating systems
Air treatment, air conditioning
Lighting in a building
Zero energy building
Course Unit of monophasic thermohydraulic (1st year of Ense3)
Course Unit of heat and mass transfers (SEM 2nd year)
Basis in numerical calculations (Matlab, Python,)
Basis in Automatic control and regulations
