Goal(s)

Acquire the basic knowledge in digital electronics to understand, define and sizing a digital electronics circuit with programmable components thanks to methodological design tools (VHDL).
The concerned skills are the processing of digital signal electronic.

  • MOS transistors and basic logic gate
  • Logical functions and temporal aspects
  • Moore machine and VHDL
  • Quantitative tools for VHDL design

Practicals work:
Behavior - electric CMOS circuits

  • Triggers - Sequencer / Counter wired
  • Moore machine - VHDL - programmed counter
  • Methodology tools, VHDL, FME - realization of a ADC
  • 1st order filter (VHDL, MEF, ADC, DAC).


Prerequisites

Basic Analog Electronics, basic logic. TC Courses: Interfacing of Electronics and Instrumentation
