Goals

to apply methods and tools for the mylti-physics and multi-scale design of electrical systems, optimization, analysis of the life cycle (ACV)… To understand and to apply languages, formalisms, methods and tools for the analysis of mechatronical system

Content

functional analysis / Definition of the optimization problem
analysis Algorithms (optimization under constraints, multi-objectives)
Sensibility analysis / liability / robustness
Analysis of the life cycle
Reduction methods of models (surrogate models, order reduction)
Application on several cases of electrical engineering, in parallel : electrical machine, static converter, electrical drives

Prerequisites

Module « electrical energy » (1st year)
Module «material for electrical engineering» (IEE 2 A)
Module «Power electronics » (IEE 2 A)
Module « Machine and electrical drives » (IEE 2 A)
Module « numerical methods and tools » (IEE-SEM 2A)
