The usual duration of studies in the French Grandes Ecoles is 3 years. After two years of preparatory classes students take a nationwide competitive entrance examination to enroll in the Grandes Ecoles. The annual number of admissions is rigorously limited. Each year, Ense3 accepts a very limited number of students as admis-sur-titre (admission granted on previously-obtained degrees). Moreover, courses are taught in French, therefore you must have a good knowledge of French to follow courses and be awarded the diplôme d'ingénieur (Master of Engineering). The majority of students enroll in Ense3 by passing the national entry test. However, French and foreign students may also apply for the 1st, or 2nd year as admis sur titres, on the basis of academic record: - If you live in one of the following countries you must register on CampusFrance website: Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina, CameroonChile, China, Colombia, Congo Brazzaville, Korea, Ivory Coast, United States, Gabon, Guinea, India, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Czech Republic, Russia, Senegal, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam. Click here to access to the Campusfrance guideline to apply at Ense3.

If you live in another country an on-line application form is to be completed and sent by mail. The admission board evaluates and decides on each candidate's application (incomplete application forms will not be considered). If you wish to apply:

  • for the first year: a minimum of 2 years of completed scientific studies are required (a Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
  • for the second year : a minimum of 3 years of completed scientific studies (a Bachelor diploma or equivalent).

Application deadline : April 15th
